Gateway Fence Co. was founded by me, Cole LeClaire, in 2012 shortly after my Grandparents retired their fence company where I worked for all of my adult life, and every summer growing up. I have a passion for building fence and passing on my knowledge to help individuals decide what type of fence would best suit their wants and needs. I erect all types of fence, from fancy and ornate to industrial and functional                                          I have been building fence full time since 2006, not including all my teenage years part time

In my 10 years of full time fence building I have attended American Fence Associations – Field training, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Where hundreds of fence contractors compare new techniques, new products and create a standard to building quality fence. Also, I have been part of a team of men who took on not the ordinary project to prove fence can be built correctly in the harshest working environments, for example in Berney Falls, Ca. we climbed down the back side of a 300’ dam to install rock fence This kept rocks from falling from the hillside while PG&E excavated a new road in the hillside to install a new hydro-generator at bottom. In Marysville, Ca. The school district remodeled most of the schools from 2002 to 2006 each one having been from chain link and Iron fence with ADA Compliance.

In 2008, I had the opportunity to meet the cast of Myth Busters. We installed fence and gates for a car vs. Chainlink gates test to reenact a movie. The result...Plausible
